Overwhelming Support For Six Black MLA Candidates

Winnipeg’s African and Caribbean communities come together in support of six black Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) candidates running in several different¬†constituencies. This was a unique event and the first of its kind where candidates representing the different political parties come together for one common goal. Manitoba has never elected a black MLA but that is about to change with six very strong candidates in the running.

Here are your candidates:
Audrey Gordon (Progressive Conservative)
Don Woodstock (Independent)
Donovan Martin (Liberal)
Peter Koroma (Liberal)
Jamie Moses (NDP)
Mamadou Ka (Progressive Conservative)

Please visit their websites to learn more about these candidates, support them in anyway that you can and most importantly don’t forget to vote at the Manitoba Provincial Election on April 19, 2016.

My congratulations to all the candidates. I was the first Black candidate to run for provincial office. I represented the NDP.
